FG1 parts

are there any parts for the FG1 yet?? at least a CAI or and exhaust kit? because the only thing ive done to my civic so far is tint the windows. and i dont know whats next

AEM came out with an intake. Magnaflow came out with exhaust.

There is intakes exhaust lights and lowering springs just look on ebay all the following is on there.

also the brace your referring to is actuall by Tanabe

the camber kit is by SPC (also Comptech makes camber kit now)

And I haven't found any exhaust systems for FG1s although there are quite a few for the FG2s (Greddy, DC Sports) that MAYBE compatible?

This is a pretty cool list, maybe we could make a sticky for parts that we find?

well, they have the Tanabe axel back and the DC sports axel back, if i had the money I would have ordered the Tanabe axel back

but both are for an FG2, but from what I can see, I think it might be able to fit

I Bought A Costume Exhaust Muffler From Ebay And When I installed IT I Felt A Difference,The Gas When I Accelerated It I Felt Much Lighter It Didn't Felt Like If I Was Forcing It And I Don't Know If Gave It Some HP Probably About 1HP Or Maybe Nothing But I Don't Think It Lost Any So That's The Good Thing

exhaust and intake will not make a dramatic difference it will free up up hp gains will not be a whole lot but anything helps.

wait for some greddy, pacesetters, hks, & mugen ones. none out yet.

about freeing up horsepower...i think the less restrictive exhaust flow will alter the powerband slightly because the backpressure would shift the power a little higher, thus a slightly weaker lower end power.
The FG2 exhausts (or any engine part for that matter) will not fit the FG1. K20 & R18 engines don't interchange parts.

how about an axel back?? i'm almost positive that is interchangeable, but I have no proof

well i got a custom made exhaust, and it was cheaper than all of the ones for an FG2

If you can find a reputable shop, I'd see if they can do one for ya.

I originally went with a magnaflow, but changed it to one of those combined muffler/tip things. forgot the brand name.

yea i just got a custom catback exhaust last friday for my civic. sounds excellent!! i got it at this autoshop in town. it has a 4 inch inlet so i guess its big enuff
