is there a way to create a fisheye effect in photoshop?

sort of.... go to filters > distort > lens correction

that'll pop up a dialog box that will have "Remove distortion", but I doubt you'll get the effect ur looking for.

Yeah, its hard to replicate since you really don't have that wide angle of the lens.

The lens is the only way to go!

But, your only going to get a small pic if you try to fisheye it in ps!

Nikon & Canons are around 400-600.

Ouch!!

get the sigma 10-20mm or the tamron 10-17mm. the tamron is more exaggeratted but I think I'm gonna stick with the sigma. both are around 500 bucks :(

if you're REALLY talented in photoshop and have way too much time on your hands, I suppose you could take a series of shots in a grid then blend them together and distort them accordingly. that would take a loooooooong time and probably be hella frustrating unless ur super experienced.

CS thing? Its called Spherize Filter in 7 under distort. Probably not as good as the real thing but you can bump up the canvas size since you cant set where the sphere lands.
