I went for what I thought was the green coolant for the Civic today AFTER asking that it was green I needed as thats whats it in and you (seemingly) cant mix. So, got there and came back, just cracked it open, to find it..

BLUE!!!!

Will they take it back as I opened it, but had to, to see it was the right colour (or what should have been!)..

So there is Blue Coolant now? I thought blue was WindShield washer fluid the only coolant I've known are red/pinkish, yellow, and green. What dealerships are using blue engine coolant...or am I out in left field....and you were buying WWF?

Honda has been using blue coolant since 2004, and it's compatible with any year honda, doesn't matter wether you had green before, you can switch to blue with no problem, no honda dealer (in the USA) carries or can even get the green coolant since honda started the blue type2 coolant.
