also another note...After driving about 50-100 miles or so go back over the head studs and re check the torque. Sometimes they tend to loosen after initial torque and if they do then you will be doing the whole thing again...
it seems this torquing process will never end :cry:

guys, my engine code is D16Y6, ebay seller didnt know what is the similler engine so that head gasket will fit. its D16Y8 or D16Y7 ??????

am very sorry about that bro, let me search by my self then before buy it i will show you the item if its correct.
what i understand from your torque, is after done with 60 I have to go back loosen bolts then start with step 1,2,3,4 but in 3 and 4 i have to torque it to 80 instead of 60
dont loosen them after you tq them to 60, just re-tq them to 80.

its the same as the D16y8... so get ARP headstuds for a D16y8 and a gasket for a D16y8 as well...

i bet i know the answer...

did you use OEM head bolts? more specifically, did you re-use your old headbolts?

if yes to either of those, your probably gettng head lift. try switching to ARP head studs.
If you don't have a air bubble I can almost guarantee this is your culprit. I don't even reuse my ARPs even though you supposedly can use them up to three times. What's an extra 120 bucks vs. all that work or labor costs.
