fuel rail

If i get AEM high flow fuel rail for my civic (1998 d16y8 automatic transmission) will i need a tune or is it just a plug and play performance item? thanks guys!

you will not need a tune. but you wont feel a differce either. those are used for more volume and bigger injecters wont do anything for u with stock injectors. but it will look nice

I wouldn't waste money on it. I doubt you even need it

agreed for the money u will spend on the rail you could do a full tune up on ur car and be further ahead

Thanks for the replies guys! I wasn't going to by one i was just wondering how that would work. Im trying to get more informed on tuning cars and such and i just wasn't sure wether you would have to tune a car when adding something like that to it. Thanks!

you would have to tune the car if you were putting bigger injectors on it and that would only be if you added internals or a turbo. your car is tuned from the factory to run very well under stock conditions.
