anyone ever coast in neutral then stick it in drive while in motion? well ive been getting a grinding noise when i do it anyone else? ive never gotten that noise in any other car ive driven new and old so i dunno

If you're talking about an automatic, this shouldn't become a habit. it's cause mroe wear & tear on the engine than necessary. If you try to go from neutral to drive in any car, regardless of it being auto or stick, you should try to rev-match to avoid/limit the grinding.
yes its an auto..i mean ive done it all my cars i know alot of people do it too ya know stick it in neutral to save gas and coast down a hill or something but eh..guess i wont do it anymore
