Guage cluster removal

hI,

I know this will be repeated but I'm stuck, I need to remove the cluster in a 90 civic sedan lx to change the bulbs in it. I've gotten the bezel out, and removed the 4 screws on the side. But it still will not pull out. What am i missing?

I found a thread that answered this but the answer seems to be gone, what else is there?

Remove 8 screws.

That's where my problem is. I removed the bezel then the 4 screws, (2 on each side) but then the cluster will not move forward at all. It's as if I'm missing screws somewhere. I can tell it's loose but I can't pull it enough to even unhook the wires. I have a picture but can't figure out how to post it either


Update, I see the caps on top of the cover now. I didn't see those before. Difficult to get to, but will try in the morning and update whether I'm successful or not. thank you very much.
