i found a local add for "1994 honda civic 1.5 vtec cylinder head complete w cams/rockers and valve cover.also have vtec wiring harness d15 1.5 good cond $125"

is this a good deal? what am i missing the ECU? and what eles let me know guys.. thanks

just try to get a d16z6 head, it has a better air flow, and vtec kicks really nice.
this is what you need for a "mini me" :
D16z6 head (your stock manifolds will work but z6 is always better, is you can get them for a really good price)

P28 ECU (or RPM switch for VTEC, ECU is better)
D16y8 or d16z6 head gasket (Y8 is good to raise compresion)
Z6 spare plugs and wires
D16Z6 timing belt.
I think that's all, let me know if you have questions, I just did it 2 weeks ago and is pretty easy.

doesnt the y8 manifold flow better than the z6?

yeah but that's if you want to go OBD2 as far as I know, people call it the type r manifold of the d's (I know. this people)

just see if you can get a complete z6 or y8 motor. i'm not a big fan or mini mes, i'll go b series, but thats me!
