I'm trying to change my headers and I'm not able to get the nuts off I've tried penetrating oil and vise grips. do I have to drill out the studs and replace them? can someone help please? Engine D16Z6

the uh.... proper wrench.. ie: a 6 point 12mm socket.
there should be no reason these would be stuck....
one more thing.... run the motor up to temp... and then immediatly attempt to get them off again ... aluminum expands faster and more than steel. so it will be like using a torch.

i used 12mm socket got 1 off and others are stripped
pound a 11 mm socket on the stripped ones
dude i sorry... i just dont see how this is possible.
please post a picture of what your working with... cause there is no reason for this
