Header Question

I just bought and aftermarket header for my d16y8. On my stock manifold there is a bracket attached to the downpipe that bolts to the oil pan , im guessing it supports the exhaust from shifting around. the new header i bought doesn't have that bracket and im worried if i install it i might damage something, since the bracket isn't there to support the downpipe. any ideas on what i should do would be appreciated.

I didn't put the bracket on for my dc sports header. I haven't really had any problems, so I dont see why you have to have it.

i was just worried that the exhaust might shift and break the header bolts thats that come out of the block.

my header doesnt have it either, and no damage here

no problems here either. i ripped that bracket off. less weight yo!
