My headlight oem broke and I need a new one. My question is can I put any kind of Honda civic headlight or does it have to be specifically my model (Honda Civic 1998 EX)?

it has to be the 96-98 because the 99-00 civic headlights are more pointed and then would have to change the whole front end.

^ what he said. If your car is a 98 Civic, you'll need headlights from another 96-98 civic.

The 99-00 headlights won't fit even though they sort of look similar.

make sure you get a stanley, if your only replacing one. i bought a cheap tyc..i think...which looked good by itself, but got it installed only to notice the mfg writing and designations dont match. it takes a close look, but if your picky like me it may piss you off later. now on my 3rd try at the lights......
