rust gang......
how do i get rid of this one quater size of rust on the far right corner next top the spoiler of my hatch.
i dont want them to multiply!
what to do!?
here are some of their encounters!

1. buy fiberglass and resin
2. take the hatch off
3. grind out the rust
4. fiberglass
5. Sand
6. prime, and paint

so i just did my whole door on my rex, it had similar stuff. What i did was sanded the area with like 80 grit sand paper. sand it till theres no rust - you might need to get some like drill bit peices with a sander on the end to pick up the pace a bit if its really in there. Then primer it ( i used primer from cnd tire just cheap stuff) so you cant leave the primer on too long or it will rust quick cuz the primer absorbs water easily. So when your ready to paint (hopefully in less than a couple days) sand it down with 400 or 500 grit till its nice and smoth and spray on some matching paint.
It looks like you just have surface rust so it should just come off - you might not have to use filler but if you do get some fiberglass strand stuff not bondo . Go to a auto body supplier and talk to them quickly there usually lots of help =)

ima probably take this piece of rust to the body shop as suggested.

hatch as in the one i lift.oh no no no no no.

the rust hole is on the corner of the roof.
on the far lower right corner of the roof between the hatch and the car.
hope that makes sense.

junkyrd hatches are lame.all rusty in hawaii.
only one pick and pull jnkyrd the other jnkyrd sucks ass.way overpriced tried to price me 350 for two used fenders.what
