hey there. if your like me then you absolutely HATE those damn exhaust leaks. my car came with ractive header and ractive exhaust. 98 coupe btw. its leaking and sounds like s**t. anyways turns out its the equalizer piece that needs replacing and possible the rest of it back. but the equALIZER TUBE IS from the ractive header so how can i get a new one of them or what do i do? anways have any words of advice or help because this sucks

well equalizer tube. it the second piece on the header
its between the cat and that tube. ive had to cut that tube and weld it twice but i want it fixed for good
ok but the hole is in my equalizer tube which came with the header. so i cant just go buy a new piece
ya i cant contact them which sucks. and i want to fix it without welding and without a whole new header but its not looking good
ok. the problem is the whole which is where the leak is coming from. some way or another that whole has to be closed. You can try using JBweld. do you know what is is?

you may have to if its unweldable. if its a two-piece like i'm assuming it is, then you should be able to find it on ebay, craigs, honda-tech.....

you could also just replace the entire header, and sell the old one to partially recoup some of the financial losses.
