I am thinking of lowering my car about 1.5 to 1.8 inches.
I was looking at tein s tech springs with tokiko blue shocks.
on top of springs and shocks, are there anything else that I need to complete my setup?
struts? bars? i am not 100% clear on what they are. Please help me out!

A strut bar combo (front upper, rear upper and rear lower tie bar) will help you get a lot out of your setup. Megan Racing makes a relatively decent priced set that you can order from wesellcarparts.com with a discount if you contact Don on the site.

if your thinking of just lowering it a little but still maintaing your stock ride.

Get a set of S Techs on illuminas or at least blues.

The s-techs on Tokico illuminas will feel almost as close as stock on soft setting =)

hmm, i'm looking at s techs and illuminas. (are ebay illuminas okay? trustworthy?)
do i need to get camber kits?
if I dont get camber kits, wouldn't my tires go bald really fast?

how about struts/bars, is that necessary?
which bar should i get first?
any recomendations on brands? (i heard ebay struts make no difference at all)

Sway bars make the biggest difference, strut bars are for a "finishing" touch.

You DO NOT need a camber kit, you have to get an alignment though. The alignment will fix the tire wear.

you only need a camber kit if you get at least a 3in drop. You should be alright with out it.

you wont need a camber kit, just get an alignment after the suspension gets put in.

well.. its foolish not to get a camber kit when you lower a car.

Anything over a inch n 1/2 is not what honda ment when they made the car.

Camber kit when you lower it over a inch n Half.

Just do it. Don't complain. you'll love it in the end when you don't have to keep dishing $$$$ for new tires.

thats great, read the first post.

Tein s-techs he said.

which will NOT lower him enough to need a camber kit.

factory spec calls for up to 1* negative camber front and rear anyway.

you dont need a camber kit, camber doesnt hurt your tires that much, just get an alignment to fix toe.

toe eats tires like a hooker on a $50 blowjob, negative camber just makes you handle better and it looks cool.

unless you are low enough that you are driving on your sidewalls, dont worry about camber.
