help with exhaust set up

im having trouble setting up my exhaust system i dont want something that sounds like a fart can and all ricey. i want something that sounds good and deep kinda like on these vids

bt idk if i should take out all my exhaust pipes and just run 3 inch piping from my down pipe all the way to my muffler but i also wanna do a dual exhaust that will prob be split at rear axle the car has h23 and its just gonna be my dd but i want a more free flowing exhaust but i dont want it to where it gives me problems if i do go dual though i migth just do 2 1/4 piping what u guys think oh and ill be keeping stock headers till i can get more money to buy some good ones

3 inches is too big. don't go bigger than 2.5" just get an OBX muffler, sounds good and not too ricey, and it's like 40 bucks on ebay from what i've heard. than take it to a shop and have them throw some standard 2.5" piping up there.

yeah but will it sound rice if i remove the cat and resonator thats what im wondering i just wanna free up as much air as i can and thnks

I have a hollowed out cat... doesn't make it sound rice at all.

Hate to post a link to another site but there is a post on honda-tech for the prelude guys talking about this. They give specs and include clips so you can get a better idea of what you want. Pretty useful.

i took my cat off got a megan racing test pipe and a 3" exhaust s**t sounds great over here

is that the exhaust size though or the piping cuz i wanna do my piping to 3 also if it is do u have any performance issues like loss of power or anything like that
