[HID] How long the ballast should last?

Anyone knows how long the ballast should last? I got the kit from Ebay and just wondering what's the average lifetime of it? How many HID bulbs do i replace before the ballast go bad?

They should last for a while. Mine have been lasting for well over a year.

Same thing with the bulbs...the bulbs should last around 3,000hr's.
