you can run up to what your map sensor can handle which is i think 10.63~
7,8,9,10 psi is going to give you the same damage (internal) over time.

there have been quite a few threads on this before, search button works great.
But it depends on what turbo you will be using. stock b16's have been good up to over 300hp but the majority of the time they don't last very long. On a stock b16 i wouldn't shoot for over 260hp. tune it well.

Telling a noob to go by the map sensor limit is not such a great idea. On the off chance he is a total tool with no common sense, what would stop them from buying a 4 bar map?

That being said a stock internal motor, reliably I wouldn't push over 8psi especially if its daily driven but that's just my 2cents

how much boost on what turbo?? psi means nothing. 10 psi coming from a straw is different from 10 psi coming out of a 2inch pipe

I would keep it below 300whp. Make sure you find the best tuner you can. First things first do a compression test and leak down test.

Let's say you have a 50 trim turbo, THAT I would run around 8-9lbs on a stock b16a, and of course with a GREAT tune.

Yield around 250-275whp, conservative and SAFE tune.
