How remove and paint chrome trim on sedan windows?

Are they held on by clamps?..Im tryin to paint those shits black.
Im affraid of just snapping it off or is there little clamps?

I believe they just snap in.

It was 10x easier for me to just paint mine while it was still on the car. Just mask it off well.

i do believe they sell the trim paint at kragen

if its on a 98-00 just open your door. Along the outside vertical edge will be 3 screws that hold on the vertical trim piece on the outside. Take the 3 screws out n then the trim piece will just pop out

I think im going to sand the trim and use Rustoleum's "plastic" paint.
