How-To: Better MPG

i've been really wondering about the gm synco mesh, in the past i just used 10w30 since thats what was used at the factory i've also tried Honda MTF there was some difference but not much difference. how does it compare to other brands?

I used Penzoil syncromesh on a 91 accord I had with a 3rd gear grind. After a couple of days the grinding improved to a point of almost disappearing.

I had about 2-3 mpg improvement by installing an ACCEL ignition coil.

Thats pretty much the general consensus about the product. Theres not one legitimate complaint about using it.

That might have been due to incremental MPG decline over the wear of the coil. Either way, its a good reminder.
