for the record i am the one that banned Pickled. Pickled knows what avatar he had, it was not a thong shot, but rather 2+ people having sex. you can try and say that you never had such an avatar up to make us mods look bad and your avatar was not NSFW "but frankly my dear, i dont give a damn". one of the mods even messaged me on AIM with a link to your profile. heres the log of the conversation, and i editted that particulars mod's sn out because i felt like it, if they want to reveal who they were its their choice:

I am going to side with the staff on this one. I rarely am on CC at work when it is very slow but I still have people walking by my desk all the time and I really don't think they would appreciate some of the avy's on here.

I have been warned a couple of times of having my computer privelages revoked by the school due to things like this...and it is not due to VIP either...it is mostly off topic and peoples avatars...they monitor us due to it being a christian school and very strict and stuff, and I have had messages on my screen apear from me looking at posts and they see them telling me to get off or face consequences...

CC needs to regulate avatars more often, I see avatars like this all the time. One time I posted about to a member that he should consider changing his avatar, it was some girl without any underwear iirc. Snakeshit changed my post to "I like brownies".

I agree. I remember reporting or at leats mentioning that an avatar was NSFW and everyone (mods included) told em that it's not a big deal. It was an ass in a thong, I do remember that.

I was told that I was being unreasonable because it wasn't NSFW because she wasn't naked.

I tried to argue that it's still not safe for work at most places you'd be allowed online at work, and that was met with "you shouldn't' be online at work, get back to work".

I guess a work place having internet access that's allowed to be used on lunch breaks didn't occur to anyone.

no different as if turbo95eg6 were to go out and flame people left and right. he will be told to stop. if he fails to comply... ban will insue. he knows that....its the rules. i believe Eran was banned indefinatly for this very same reason.

rules arent bent for any one person. just because maybe someone got away with it a little longer than you.. doesnt mean that we didnt catch it. we as green people dont have the power to remove sigs or avvys. nor the power to ban anyone. we have to present our case to the red man or a blue man. if they see it as ban worthy. it will be banned. they ask us all the time about people and what we think should be done. we voice our opinion but in the end the admin has the final decision.

The way it was explained to Eran, Eran was banned for the possibility that he could make trouble in the future. He was banned for three years IIRC.

He had been banned, then was unbanned and then banned again quickly after that because the mods had had a nice long talk about it and decided he could end up still being a problem.

I agree, but I don't think anyone in this thread has said they're offended by a naked ass or a pair of titties. It's that the boss, the coworkers, a customer, could all be offended. Since most workplaces have rules against that kind of thing, it can't be allowed if the site doesn't want "NSFW" content in certain sections.

Is there a thread just for random porn that peopel find? Maybe someone should make somethign like that in VIP. Then there will be a place for others on the site to see your super cool photos of chicks getting rammed. It just doesn't need to show up all over the site.
