i got terrible shift linkage

hey i had a question about my shift linkage...i have a standerd 1998 ciivic dx coupe and when i feel my gears it feels like im sturring a bowl of oatmeal. how can i fix that

New shift bushings. Cheap, relatively easy to put in, and make a HUGE i mean HUUUUGGGGEEEEE difference.

I got the Energy Suspension ones from one of the site sponsors here. $20+ !/2 an hour work= all the difference in the world.
