and i have a hell of a question lol. why does my intake have a FIT valve when its a manuel?

and what intake does a po6 hf-1 come off of. thats the intake i have and i dont think its the right one.

i pulled it off this weekend to clean it. my manual says only autos have fitv's. is that correct. and if so what do i need for manual?

the P06 intake manifold is off a 92-95 D15B7 - looks like this:

the factory D16Y7 intake manifold uses a downdraft throttle body and looks like this:

coolant and vacuum lines for Y7 are not going to be correct for the B7 intake

vacuum diagram will depend on whether your MAP sensor is on top of the throttle body or is mounted on the firewall

An FITV has nothing to do with your trans. It's a valve that lets extra air into the intake and provides a higher idle when the motor is cold to speed up the warming up process.
