ok i am getting a b18c type r swap (everything)i have a 96 civic coupe dx 5 speed and a 98 civic ex but it is auto now i need opinions on what you would choose the 98 or 96 if i do chose the 98 i will we doing the 5 speed conversion from the 96

i'll go with the 96 it's already a manual if you pick the 98 it will take more time converting the automatic into a manual but that's just me though. use your time wisely i would rather drop the motor in 1 day and drive it as soon as possible lol

i guess the only plus about the ex is the sun roof and power windows and locks

I'd sell both cars and get a manual ex. You'll have the power options and won't have to convert the tranny.

Since you're in NM I'd assume both bodies are in great shape. If you have zero bias toward either car, just do the manual and save yourself some work.
