Iat?

i went to autozone to see why my CEL was on. my problem is my IAT (Intake air temp) circuit. the guy at autozone told me thats my o2 sensor but i just wanted to make sure on here. i have a 01 b18b motor.

Your iat would be the little round sensor before the throttle body.

Yeah, don't believe the autozone guys (no offense to anyone in here who works there). They always say it is the o2 sensor; atleast in my experience. Right down the code as fast as you can (sometimes they go through really fast) and look it up in the service manual. I believe there is a section that has you run through steps to diagnosis it.

Holy s**t...i cant believe autozone hires dumb asses to work for them. I went there asking for some trans fluid. Guy asked whats wrong with the trans. I told him it grinded. He had the guts to tell me it was a transmission bushing. I was like

Really cheap from a junkyard. And why if the code said IAT would autozone tell you its the o2 sensor. Idiots.
