I have a Honda Civic ESI (Special Edition, 1.6l engine, 16 Valve, NO VTEC).
If the A/C is on and I hit the gas and release it immediately, the rpm goes up to 1500 (example), than down to 200-300 and back to normal. Same if I hit the gas and start driving. the rpm goes up, down to very low and back to normal. Sometime, the engine die. I was many times (4x) in my local Honda service, they could not find the problem. They told me, there are some other customer with the same problem. If the A/C is off, NO problem at all! Needle goes slow down to normal if I release the gas. With A/C, the needle goes very fast down from whatever to 200-300 and than back to what it should be.
ANY SUGGESTION/HELP?
