so when I take off in first and I shift into second and all the other gears and
when I come up to a light and put it in neutral my engine revs to 2500 rpms and goes down to 1500 rpm when I stop at the light it goes down to 1000 rpm sometimes 500 rpm...and sometimes the engine sounds like its gonna die... what could be the cause of this...
throttle cable to tight? tps? iacv?

I would imagine first port of call would be iacv, or breather hoses around the inlet manifold

I'm gonna take off the iacv and clean it to see if that's the problem...if not then I'm gonna do a vaccum test on it

How do u do a vacuum test? I have the same problem with my d16y7

Spray water on the vaccum lines then see where it's comin from. But I just took my iacv apart along with my throttle body and cleaned em both now I'm putting sea foam in it.
