Its either your wires, or your coil that is causing that problem. Get some new wires first, then if that doesn't work, you might as well get a whole new distributor. If you really feel like just replacing the coil, hit me up, I can tell you how.

most ive ever got in my integra was 37 and that was doin like 50 and drivin hella slow everywhere ... smashin it gets like 30 if its all highway

the platinums are more just a gimick to be honest which unfortuneately (sp?) you fell for the make it seem like just because its platinum that it will contact better, when i was younger i tried them in a motorcycle and learned my lesson quick because one fouled w/in two weeks luckily it was an inner cylinder (outters are a pain on bikes) and soon after that those fouled again, notice that you normally don't change a factory plug untill maybe 50k right?? then tell me why those plugs take so long to foul where the plats foul out ALL THE TIME, not to mention you'll save money i noticed once i put the factory's back in it ran ALOT better than w/ the plats

I haven't had a problem yet but that doesn't mean I won't. But thanks for the tip. If/when these mess up I'll be sure to get some NGK's. I got those Plats before I came to CC so thanks again ;).

haha yea i meant per tank..i havent done ani big internal mods or anithing..just basically td04 turbo set up with 255lph fuel pump..o yea ngk spark plugs and ngk plug wires too.if that makes ani difference, .the motor is a HX motor..it got 38-42 mpg when i got it..but yea..i did a typo by putting mpg =)

i dont really drive hard..i drive from tacoma to seattle..about 40 min drive almost everiday in washington's ever changing weather..i guess if you just dont launch or high rev..u should be fine..had to buy a tank just now at 340 =(

well i can honestly say i am burning 8 gallons of gas with about 246 miles and my car only has a 10 gallon tank, so not sure how everyone else is getting 400 miles to a tank of gas unless it is all highway, my car is only driven in the city

i'm at about 220 to 260 per tank. wish it was more, i'm filling up at least 2-3 times per month. at $26-$27 a tank, it can be pricey. still a lot lower than SUV's or V8s, but still...

I once got 54mpg on a trek down to Wyoming. I was with some friends and they had a big old trailer behind there truck and could only go 50mph pretty much the whole way. So I went 50mph the whole way behind there trailer. Usually I get around 34mpg around town...beating on it a bit too.

that and when most of it is highway. last summer i drove to pittsburgh then to columbus and around columbus and i got about 450 out of the tank but all but like maybe 15 miles were highway.

If the problem occured when he put in a header, I garauntee it's not igniton ....

It's probably your o2 sensors. check and see if you're running a cat degredation code or any o2 sensor codes. Your car is probably in limp.

When my needle is about a millimeter or a bit more above E I know I have about 40-50 miles at least until I really need to get gas.

Anyway, last time I gassed up was yesterday. I reset my odometer everytime I gas up and this time I had gone through 248 miles on that tank. The gas light had just began to light up. I normally gas up before the gas light comes on, or right after it does though.

I bought 9.561 gallons for $2.739 and it cost me a total of $26.19 to fill it up.

with my old d16y8 i use to commute from school to home everyweekend ~160 miles and i would get amazing gas mileage i wouldnt be surprised if i got in the low high 30's to low 40's in MPG.
