Are the standard D16Y7 (1996) and B16A2 (1999?) injectors the same cc? What is the cc for each.

I cant find the answer for this anywhere, only turbo applications.

Thanks

Tim

Found out the size from another forum, D16Y7 180cc and B16A2 240cc.

Would using D16Y7 injectors in a B16A2 be a bad idea? I think so, but the garage not doing my swap seems to think its ok. The car is also running lean.

Thanks

you can find those injectors from a z6 or y8, they both use 240's. Use the 240's. Not a good idea to use the 180's, remember y7 only makes 104-106 b16 makes 160 big difference. It's your car, you put in what you want.

I thought 180's were a bad idea, but I wanted to check with someone before I told the "professional" mechanic how to do his job.

Thanks!
