injen short ram intake, or cold air intake?

Ok... I am going to keep my 07 Si Naturally Aspirated. SOOO, I will need a new intake... Or so I hear I should.
Should I got with the injen short ram intake, or go with the cold air intake. I am looking for more acceleration, not top speed. I also like that the short ram is VERY easy to install.
Should I get the Short ram, or cold air? Or should I not get either one of them?
Any tips for making perfecting a naturally aspirated car?

Thanks

-Dalton

either of them should produce some noticeable gains for you since you have K-Series.

Why would it help the K-Series more than other series? For say the B-Series.

because of your higher displacement

the bigger the displacement is on an engine, the more noticable the gains are going to be.

well the fujita SRI makes about 10 hp(Fujita is a branch from injen)

i thought they had a dyno of their CAI too but didnt see it.

if you live in a place that floods alot then i wouldnt recommend the CAI

if you go with cold air i'd highly recommend getting a bypass valve (if they make one for the newer civics). wouldn't want to hydrolock that new car.

I would stick with a Short ram.....Not a whole lot of difference from the two other then longer piping and risk of hydrolocking your engine.

Thanks you guys! I think I am going to go with the Short Ram. I don't want to hydrolock my engine. It rains a lot here.
About how much HP do you think I would Gain from adding the short ram?

Also...the K series responds a whole lot better to Intake, header and exhaust mods, where as the D is a poor performer to those mods and the B series is a lil better.

K-pro for K-series!!!!

instant Horsepower with a tune!!!

k-series motors are monsters and you have a very good base to work with.

Intake, headers and exhaust are the basic n/a mods. I think I'm going to go with the Fujita SRI when I get some extra money coming my way. =)
