a 99 type r , they dont make 99 type r, maybe they guy made it into a type r, but in 2000 and 2001 are the only type r's ever made and 8k doesnt sound bad send pics if you can and get a carfax

im pretty sure the Type R goes back to 97

No USDM ITRs were imported in '99.
'97, '98, and '00 are all you're gonna find for a USDM ITR.

that's not true. the type r became available in 1997.

It's not a 99 Type R but if it has a legit B18C5, 5 lug conversion, and all the other Type R braces and goodies it's definitely worth $8,000.

If it's an RS/LS/GS with Type R badges....it's not. Now if it's a GS-R with Type R badges, meh. 8's a fair price. The badging is unfortunate but the remainder of the car probably justifies about 8k
