I have a 2002 civic coupe LX 1.7L i dont really care to have a lot of power or else i would of bought a car with a bigger motor. I do want better gas mileage, i just put a short ram intake on it and have been looking into exhaust but is exhaust really worth it? i dont want a loud obnoxious exhaust, the local exhaust company has a set up with magnaflow they could do but how many mpg will i increase is it worth the money for this? thanks for your time.
Some exhaust are VERY worth it. Specially the ones made of better material. Material that does not corrode or deteriorate slower then the oem exhaust. They also improve throttle response. There a few other pros' about exhaust, but if any of those do not interest you what so ever. Then No, it's not worth it to you.

I have changed the rear oxygen sensor due to my check engine light. i get about 28-30 in town and about 36-37 on the freeway. the only reason i would get an exhaust is if it would help get even more mileage
