Hey guys. I have a 99 Si and have some questions. I bought the car used. It had 85000 miles and a weak already worn clutch. im pretty sure its OEM. Anyway as i drove the clutch gradually got worse. Car Now has 89000 miles. At first it started slipping in between hard shifts, to slipping pretty bad in shifts, to it has like no grip and if you punch it revs will climb and u wont go faster. this all happened over a couple of months. Now is this the normal way for a clutch to go out? like just slipping more and more? It has never chattered or made a single squeek. It just got weaker and weaker. mI have heard that signs of a wearing clutch is a lot of noise but i didnt have that. Im worried if maybe something is wrong and the brand new clutch im abt to put in is going to wear out in 4000 miles. Thanks
