1991 Honda Civic Si


This is the build thread of Kino Makoto my Honda Civic. She was born in 1991 in Canada... and is teal. google Kino Makoto for who the name came from. Kino fights evil by moonlight and wins hearts by daylight. Shes a crimefighting machine! and can shoot lightning too! Can your EF do that? I thought not! Mako-chan has had 2 previous owners which include a little old lady and a liberal hippie bike rider who did NO maintenance AT ALL. So after i rescued her from certain doom i started performing maintenance which includes the first oil change in 10000 miles and the first fresh air filter since about 1999. A new engine is in her future from a EF SiR. ill keep adding to this biography as i go.

so i did an oil change what little that came out was black as night. im going to swap either a new d series for the winter or try to hunt down a whole b series. if anyone has any advice please throw it my way im always open to suggestions.

Thanks everybody for the support. i might be picking up a 99 B16 head off my buddies Si later this week. and im taking my b series crank to get knife edged and balanced. hopefully i can find a place locally to nitrate it too
