the EK9 was the JDM typeR, which would not have a LHD airbag delete tray.

yeah. i can't find a part # anywhere. the part is in the US interior catalogue! it just doesn't have a number! i'm about to call passwordjdm and ask for the part #, but i know they'd just laugh and hang up.

personally i dont trust airbags. i have seen more people get hurt by airbags in low speed collisions than have been saved by them. that just my experience tho.

You'd be surprised how many parts most peopel think are JDM only, but came in lots of other countries (or even this country).

SiR lips, for example? Available on '97-'98 Civic coupe, hatch and sedan in the US.

EK civics are notorious for their SRS problems (mine is broken) and honestly, they are what they say: SUPPLEMENTAL restraint systems. if you are wearing a seatbelt and sitting in your car properly the airbag doesn't do much at any LEGAL speed.

People may get hurt from them going at slow speeds, but what if you get into an accident while going at higher speeds? You are right, they are supplemental, but something is better than nothing.
I mean its your car, but just think it twice if you think putting your family members life at risk for your JDM mod.
