check your local shops. they usually sell them there as kits with everything you need for a starter tank. it also might be cheaper to piece your own together. the wal-mart near my house has them in their pet section for pretty reasonable prices if i remember correctly.

i cant wait to move into someplace permanent. THere is a 225 gallon on the west side of town i want to purchase.


Plus ive found it a hell of a lot easier to take care of a big tank. i have a 10 gallon. it was a pain. the water doesnt stay as long. plus your limited to smaller group or smaller fish.

And ive also heard for the beginner saltwater tank, use a 55 gallon or up. Theres a place here thats just an aquarium specialist. i asked them.

yea, i would try to get a bigger tank, but see the biggest i can have on campus is 20 gal

hey does anyone have actual sand in the bottom of their tank instead of gravel?
