That piston in your DOHC ZC w/ a stock head and block deck is going to get you down into the 8.3-8.4:1 C/R if I remember correctly.

like i said it will be lower then rated, due to the ZCs larger head CC.

according to http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/dcalc.htm
(HKS bead HG is .027in thick, or .7mm

8.37426174942519:1

if you machine a little off the block and maybe the head, it will raise it up a bit, if your shooting for 400whp later it will be fine, but DD on lower boost will be slugish.

actually, you will want the HKS Grommet HG, it will raise your compression.

search pricefeeler.com for 89 integra LS HKS part number 2302-RH001

what will that raise it to?^
stock block and head with the grommet HKS, will be around 8.4:1 or close.
machining a little off the block to raise the CR up a little bit more to atleast 8.8-9:1 would be best.

the reason your compression ratio in the ZC will not ne what the pistons are rated for, is becouse they are made for the D16a6, they have a smaller combustion chamber CC then the DOHC ZC,
ZC: 43.80cc
D16a6:38.00cc

no, i said thats what they are rated for, but will be lower in the ZC. i said this before your bought them.

they will still work, its actually a benefit if you plan on running higher HP later.

you will notice it might take a little longer too spool up, but if you raise the CR to 8.8-9:1 it wont be as bad.

still not as bad as putting vitaras in a DOHC ZC, they you have aroudn 7:1
