lowerings springs on 17' rims

the question that i have is that i am planning on installing some lowering springs on my car latter this week but my car has 17' tire do u think i will have issue with the tire rubing

whats the offset? my civic came with mr7 (+40mm) on 205/40 17's and when I lowered it with just the eibach prokit it rubbed so bad i switched to steelies as quickly as I could

1.5" drop and your fine and dont just get the springs upgrade the struts as well.

get a set a tein springs they are the best for the price

I went with H&R Sport Springs and KYB adjustable dampening shocks. Looks fine and doesn't rub unless you take corners way too fast.

i did...

sprint springs 2.25R/2.5F
koni red struts
17" rims with 205/40/17

and i rub bad unless going in a straight line lol

I have 17" with 205/40's
Eibach sportlines ( 1.8F/1.8R )
KYB GR-2 struts

no rubbing unless I take corners extremely hard.
