A friend of mine just bought a 99-00 Si with a LS VTEC swap and we are trying to determine what timing belt should be used. I've searched this site and others but Im not finding a clear answer.
The car has been sitting for about 2yrs. It runs good now but just be on the safe side we are replacing a ton of stuff to include all belts, some gaskets, hoses, etc.
It seems to vary depending on the water pump used from what Ive read.
The motor is as follows:
B18A block
B16A2 head
Lots of Integra Type R stuff in between.
He plans on replacing the water pump with a GSR pump. Im assuming the GSR timing belt is our answer. The other option is to measure the current belt and determine what pump is in it now.
