megan racing exhaust muffler (need ur hlp) plz

i found this exhaust muffler & ilike it very much

my car is
civic 06 ex

it sounds REEEEEEEEALLY nice
but iam just not sure about it
so said ' i should ask some experts'

on the site thay say
Gain good performance and torque

is this right
or its just for the look ha ha ah

i dont like to lose power for this muffler
so iam asking you guy's

is this muffler going to raise my turqe or its gust for the sound or its going to harm the performance

i know its not SI
but its all 140 hp ... its all we got hhhhhhhh

the number of ex's here is growing fast
i need to get special <<< he know's thet the SI owners are saying ((what the hell)) right now

but we got no SI 's here so iam good with that

Doesn't freeing up the exhaust decrease back-pressure which decreases low end torque? I'm also under the assumption that less back-pressure results in increased horsepower in the upper RPM range. :shrugs:

sound and looks is all you will get go with a full exhaust for performance and looks plus full exhausts sound the best. I just have a muffler on mine its a diff brand but it sounds nice but full exhaust is the best.

if you're aiming for looks withou compromising power, go with a pepboys fart can or an ebay exhaust tip. i know this is out of topic, but you're better off spending that money on stabilizing your car with suspension bits. not much bolt on mods out yet that'll give you lots of gain on the R18.

im guessing sence you have a almost brand new car you can afford a nicer exhaust system than that, also dont just get a muffler get a full exhaust and header while your at it

magnaflow cost almost 5 bills and will only add 5 hp and looks not worth a damn might as well leave it stock or go full out from engine to muffler with custom s**t.
