I currently had a d15b7...the head blew so instead of doing all the hassle on fixing it...I'm planning on buy my friends motor which is a d15b...my question is am I going to have to change the ecu as well?I've been doing the research n I think I should but I just wanna make sure...

Yes and no.
You can use you're P06 ecu, but it will not have the vtec function.
You can run a p28 Ecu, which will run it fine, or have the p28 chipped with the P08 maps.
You will need to wire your car for vtec though as well.

My bad I didn't make my self especific...its a non vtec....would perfer vtec but it isn't...

Btw...I also have a CRX...its a 88...and the car I'm trying to swap motors is a EG8
