River Deep Mountain High, Tina Turner. Not really a slow song but awesome nonetheless.

Time In a Bottle Jim Croce. Sad melodic love song....okay technically '70's but still a great love song.

Lot's of songs by The Turtles.

Oh and Tom Jones....That Welsh dude's like 100 and chicks are still throwing their panties at him

Excellent--this is what *I* grew up with in the household. My mom and dad loved this stuff. :D

Oh Donna
Unchained Melopdy
Stand By Me
Earth Angel
In the Still of the Night
Falling in Love with You (Elvis!)
Tenessee Waltz

There's this one song my mom and step dad danced to at their wedding but i can't think of it--it reminds me of tennessee waltz but on a happier note. =) probably a waltz then.

If you are DJing for old people and they want to dance, it will not be the 50s and 60s, so words of advice, if the crowd is going to be in their 60s to 80s, they are going to want to hear glenn miller and such, trust me and if the crowd is in their 40s or 50s, they are going to want to hear all 60s music, maybe some 70s, but very little 50s

:google: greatest rock and roll songs of the 60s

that is the best place to find all genres of music

Is this for lovemaking or DJing, because I can help more once you get that out there

:thumbs up

except people that are just entering their 60s. They are baby-boomers and would probably prefer the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel and stuff like that.

And if it's sex-type music? Kashmere by Led Zeppelin

No seriously. for the slow romantic groove? I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song by Jim Croce

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!:bluelol:

Nothing says," I love you..." quite like misogyny and violence.

Unless of course you are bumping LL Cool J after he went all soft and s**t,
