I have a 1999 mustang Gt for sale with slight modifications. It has 55k miles on it and the car is in great condition! Here are some of the modifications,

373 gears
bassani full exhaust and x pipe
cold air
svt 18in chrome wheels with brand michelin 255 45z18 tires
brembo brakes

yeah i guess you could say that, less expensive cars and can get more performace parts for the money. Not that i dont like my stang but i do like imports too.
