My B16 Fully built build thread!!!!!

well ive started to crack down and started buying parts like a mofo so heres what the motor is gonna come down too

block:JDM b16a (fully converted to obd2 by me)
CTR( PCT) pistons std bore
Shot peened b16a rods
mircopolished and balanced crank
shaved oem crank pulley
all new gaskets and pumps and etc
moroso oil pan
arp rod bolts
arp headstuds
moroso oil pan

head:jdm b16a head
crower dual valve springs and retainers
crower stage 3 camshafts
cometic 2 layer headgasket
password jdm cam seal
cant decide but either skunk 2 or hks cam gears
3 angle valve job
cant decide if i want port and polish or not
oem b16a valves

Tranny: Jdm b16a
fidanza 7.5lbs flywheel
arp pressure plate bolts
arp flywheel bolts
clutchmasters stage 3 clutch

im sure i got alot of other s**t but i cant think of it

hope to have it in sooonnn


if im correct compression should be around 11.6:1 or 12.1:1

sounds like youll pull some okay numbers, but the bad thing about honda's you have to boost them to get anywhere lol.

Nice build, btw you have the Moroso oil on there twice.

^its the JDM dual oil pan setup...allows for 8 quarts of oil for better oiling

nice build up but i doubt u will see 200 unless ur on a dynapack..bore that bish out

He should put down around 190 WHP, or somewhere in that range. And 190-200 is a nice amount but your not gonna kill mustangs, camaros and such. It will be a nice set-up, and the good thing is it will be more reliable than a boosted car.

yeah i think ill break 200

what are you tuning with? why did you go with a b16?

traded the sohc turbo kit for it so im dealing with it

and ill be tuned on crome with a chipped p28

I would have gone with a 1.8L block since you're rebuilding the bottom end anyway, but should be fun. Good luck man
