My B18c1 Swap Won't Rev Pass 7,000 RPMS?

Hey guys, so yesterday I was driving and I wanted to hear my VTEC kick in. And next thing you know my car just doesnt pass 7,000 rpms. It's like it just cut fuel right at 7k. I'm thinking its my ecu that keeps doing that.Any idea what the problem is?

Car list:2000 DX Hatchback
97 B18c1 engine stock
00 DX wiring harness converted to run vtec
OBD2B conversion harness into OBD2A
P72 ECU
Any help/tips appreciated!

Just did a CEL Codes. My car got these Numbers.

10: IAT - intake air temperature sensor
41: Primary oxygen sensor heater
65: Secondary oxygen sensor heater wire (black wires)

your cel's are causing the engine to run in safe mode. fix those, and the car will rev properly.

I will try that sir. But then again, sometimes it goes past 7k to 8k. Just that last night it did it again.

Just got CEL 10: IAT - intake air temperature sensor fixed. Any way to bypass the other two CEL Codes? Im running a straight pipe without the secondary O2 sensor (Black wires) on the cat.

I was wondering if Primary and the Secondary might cause the car not to rev to 7k? Is that possible?

How much will it be to chip and buy a ecu? And wouldnt it have to be OBD1? And I was wondering if Primary and the Secondary might cause the car not to rev to 7k? Is that possible?
