b20b swapped into my 00 Ej8.

well it runs fine all day. on the high way, accelerating, down shifting, what ever.

BUT! when i get to a stop sign, stop light, or traffic guy holding up his hand lol :word:, my idle plunges from 1k to 300, 1k to 200, then dies.

She won't stay idling. Sometimes when i try to start her she starts up at 200 rpm and i have to gas it, and then i smell gas in the car after i get her reved up a bit. I think i'm running rich.

but i've replaced sparks, wires, ignition coil, cap, rotor, fuel filter.

No CEL. ideas CC?

Start by cleaning the IACV on the throttle body.

+1 mounted to the back of the intake manifold (if you have an LS Mani) Theres a DIY on here if you search.. then if that doesnt fix it, at operating temp, adjust your idle screw on the TB

IACV was the first thing i cleaned, sorry i should of stated that in the original post.

so yeah... I didnt add as well, i had to replace the TPS sensor and ended up screwing one in without checking the amperage or volts on it...

so it may be operating out of spec.... could this be causing the symptoms i am seeing?
