... just finished hand polishing this one and now it is ready for the buffer wheel to get rid of the little scratches

What kind of wheels .?. this is hard to do on any kind of "spoke" wheels Blades or Si or fat5s would be the best or anything with a wide spoke

If not, keep them they way they are. Don't, whatever you do, don't paint them black. That'll make them look cheap.

one had some rash but once I stripped them and sanded out the rash I just kept going till it was polished ... now I have to polish the rest of them ... I am going to paint the inside part (barrels) black ..
