are u serious? Im talkin about the outlet where u can stick a cigarette lighter.

Right..... I know MY power outlet has a place to plug into in the back behind the dash panel. Go remove your panel and you'll see it. Thanks, I'm not a noob. :???:

ohh s**t i thought u were talking about a house outlet.. yea u should try what Nofx said... other then that try a fuse if not then maybe its no good

Also have you checked to make sure you're not getting any power to it at all?

tried everything. cig lighter,phone charger,radar detector,vacuum. Im thinkin the fuse went out since I had a 3 way splitter and had sorts of stuff hookep up to it.

I meant have you used a multimeter to make sure you're getting power at all?

I would imagine that there would be a circuit breaker involved, not a fuse.

Always check the fuse first on any electical problem where it just does not work anymore

Yeah um... tons of cars use circuit breaker on high draw circuits... like power windows, locks, and wipers...

A relay is a means of using small current to control large current, not temporarily open a cicuit if there is an over amp condition.
