My Year In Photos.....(56K: haha)

Today marks the one year anniversary since my Canon XTi showed up on my doorstep. I never thought i'd be where I am now with photography. Ryan (EJ6civic27) and I bought our camera's at the same time. He told me about the deal that was going on at QVC at the time .I picked it up purely with hobby in mind but now i want to turn it into my profession. Over the year I have taken a total of 10,996 photographs. Here's some of my first photo's taken with it, till now:

First automotive shoot, with EJ6Civic27

Then, went on my first walk around town, snapping pics of whatever I could find.

Got bored at night, thought of lil shots like these:

Then, I learned more about lighting and bought some pocket strobes, along with the famous....cactus V2 wireless flash triggers.

Then, got more into shooting people, etc:

Cars are fun to shoot, but I think it would be more fun to travel the country, shooting bands, people, etc.

I'm on myspace, twitter and facebook constantly. I work on networking as much as I can. A couple bulletins a day. I shoot a lot of bands so, they know friends that want senior portraits, etc. I got a bunch booked in the spring, I'm even heading to Ohio for one, but on the way there, i'm going to try to pick up a few others as well. I help out bands, they help me out, and then the kids that get their senior stuff done by me help me out on their myspaces so...word of mouth is really good.
