I wasnt real sure where to put this, it does have to do with engine control modules so that's why i put it here. I live in a county in NC where every year your car has to pass an obd test to pss inspection. The computer the car is hooked up to checks the ecm for readiness codes, to see if they're set, readiness codes are a series of test the ecm run at specific times to check to see if emissions systems are fuctioning properly. If I eventually swap to whatever motor or build and turbo my d series, I wanna know how does one get around this or can u pass this kinda obd test with a jdm motor or aftermarket controller.
