^ i knew i forgot a piece of that i have always read the auto one is easier to swap in.
Around me anyway auto hondas are easier to find in junkyards and such as everyone wants a manual so it shouldnt be to hard to get your hands on one.

just my opinion but ive heard LS/VTEC to be unreliable, if they worked good honda would have made it themselves, wat u should do is buy a b18b and attatch a gsr tranny, then new exhaust and headers, then new heads studs and pistons and Hondata s300 chip and boost the hell out of it t3/t4 turbo n run at 10psi and get drag slicks ur civic will run the quarter mile in bout 12-13 and produce anywhere from 290 to 350 HP!!!
